From Public Service to the Classroom

Embracing a Role as a Teacher to Inspire the Next Generation of Community Builders, Leaders and Business Minds

My vision for inspiring change through education and skills development for aspiring community builders, leaders and business and policy minds is the natural next step in my career which has always been focused on creating impact.

With a decade of practical experience and education in the field, I am convinced that investing in and nurturing the next generation of community leaders is as essential as addressing today's issues. This approach lays a foundation for sustainable change, empowering future advocates to effectively tackle the root causes of current societal challenges and those we will encounter in the future.

Vision for Teaching

My teaching vision centers around empowerment and leadership development. My teaching style focuses on practical application, engagement, and empowerment, preparing students to become impactful community leaders and business/policy minds. I emphasize the importance of education in equipping the next generation of leaders with the skills and knowledge to drive positive change. I will prioritize the real-world application of theory and the development of partnerships, co-op positions, community engagement opportunities, and a holistic approach to skills building.

Strengthening your College and the Program, outside of the classrom

I am dedicated to strengthening and enhancing the College and Progams I am affiliated with through my extensive network, experience and leadership skills. I aim to attract diverse new students to increase enrollment and diversity. I will develop and improve capstone courses and create new cooperative education positions. I hope to leverage my connections with senior executives, working professionals, national non-profits, politicians, community leaders and speakers to enrich the student learning experience with inspiring guest lectures. Additionally, I will engage in community outreach and media engagement to establish new partnerships and collaborations. My efforts will raise the program's profile and elevate the school's reputation.

“Mandeep you are hope. We are so grateful for you. You have shown us again how people can come together to move mountains. This project has an incredible impact and so many people have come together.”
